How Do I Make An Initial Tattoo Enquiry or request a consultation?

For all appointment inquiries and consultation requests please use our inquiries form, this will ask you for all the information we need. We will get back to you within 3 days, on average, once we receive your inquiry.

Do you accept walk-ins or are you by appointment only?

We do accept walk-ins depending on availability. Please email electriclotustattoo@gmail.com or call 718-522-7124 to find out what our schedule is looking like and discuss what you are interested in getting tattooed.

What is your deposit policy?

Depending on the piece, a non-refundable deposit of $100 to $200 is required when making an appointment. We accept cash, PayPal, all major credit cards, or Venmo. The deposit will be applied to the final cost of your tattoo and is considered during consultations. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable due to the work done in preparation for the appointment and the time allocated on the calendar. 48 hours notice is required should you wish to reschedule your appointment.

How much will my tattoo cost?

The shop minimum for any tattoo is $150. We charge by the piece rather than the hour and generally quote on size, detail, and location. We work extremely fast and keep our rates fair relative to the work and experience levels of our artists. We take deposits to hold all appointments and the remainder of your payment is due after your tattoo has been done. We accept cash, Venmo, and all major credit cards.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, all major credit cards, Venmo, and PayPal. NYC sales tax and service fees are applied to all purchases excluding merchandise under $100.

Will I See A Design Before My Appointment?

Designs will be ready to view during your scheduled appointment with plenty of time to make minor changes with your artist before it is tattooed. Sizes, orientation, and placement can all be adjusted on the day. Designs are not shown before your appointment. A re-booking may be needed if any design requires major reworking. This is dependent on our artist's schedule availability, we always aim to be flexible whenever we can.

Are You A Licensed Studio?

Yes, we are a fully licensed tattoo studio in NYC and pride ourselves on having excellent levels of cleanliness. All of our needles are single-use disposables and our artists follow strict health and safety guidelines. We use certified medical waste and sharps disposal contractors.

Do you offer piercing?

Sorry, we do not offer any piercings at the shop.

How do I take care of my new tattoo?

Your artist will explain how they would like you to look after your tattoo, this can vary piece by piece.

Do people usually tip tattoo artists?

Tips are always greatly appreciated.

Can I go in the sun and swim with my new tattoo?

It is recommended to stay out of the sun and avoid swimming for extended periods until your new tattoo is healed.
